For those homes that have wood burning appliances, we have the training required to inspect these as we are Level One WETT Certified.
A Level One WETT Inspection is a visual only inspection. We do not remove or dismantle equipment. Measurements are taken to determine if the installation meets Manufacturers requirements. This is typically the inspection that is required for insurance purposes. We also look for conditions that may require a higher level of inspection, and will advise that this should be done.
We are also qualified to advise on Air Quality issues that may be present. Evidence of past water leakage, staining, visible staining and fungal growth are some of the issues that could arise.
